Manufacturing Process

As part of our mission to work towards a more sustainable future, we've chosen to produce our helmets from recycled expanded polystyrene (EPS). It's more costly this way, but we know it’s worth it.

We spent a lot of time researching a select few production partners, we now work with the highest rated helmet producer across cycling, skiing, motorcycles & equestrian. Our helmets are good for the Earth and you:
  • Auto-parts packaging material is collected from a leading auto manufacturer;
  • Material is transformed into recycled EPS;
  • Full-wrap in-mold process, combines the EPS inner core of the helmet with the outer polycarbonate shell, producing the highest quality of finish;
  • The recycled EPS is strenuously tested against regular EPS and delivers the same level of safety required by CE & CPSC standards.
Sizing & Fit

**Note: Our helmets currently available in one size only (Unisize), so please take a couple of moments to ensure it is the right size for you before purchasing.**

Find a measuring tape and wrap around your head just above your eyebrows.

Use our video fit guide & size chart below to help you get the right measurement.

Why do you only have one size?

We've just launched the LID brand and currently have one size available, Unisize (55cm - 58cm). This captures the average head sizes for all genders. We are currently developing a full size range for riders across the world, which we hope to have available in the coming months.

The 4-notch adjustable fit system on the sides of our helmet and velcro adjustment at the rear allow the fit of the helmet to be further tailored to the rider's head. Additionally, our multi-piece design enables the helmet to auto-adjust to different head shapes, whilst providing excellent ventilation.

One size fits all.
